Asus ZenWatch 3 smartwatch launched in India via Flipkart for Rs 17,599:
Asus has silenty launched its new wearable in the Indian market. The new Asus ZenWatch 3 is now official which will be available exclusively on Flipkart. The company has priced it at Rs 17,599 for the rubber strap variant and Rs 18,999 for the leather strap variant. Customers can be pre-order it from December 23 on the e-commerce portal.
The ZenWatch 3 was unveiled at IFA 2016 in Berlin and is a good looking upgrade over its predecessor. It is slimmer and features a circular display. Running on Android Wear, it is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. The casing of the watch comes with a jewellery grade stainless steel finish. There are two strap options available, Italian leather and rubber, in two colours each, dark brown or beige.
The smartwatch is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, which is said to be fast and energy efficient. It also features something called HyperCharge technology which Asus claims that it allows the battery to be charged to 60 percent in just fifteen minutes.
The AMOLED display which measures at 1.39 inch, offers a 400×400 resolution and a 287ppi pixel density and is protected by Gorilla Glass. More than fifty customisable watch faces are available on the new smartwatch from the ZenWatch Manager smartphone app. Users can even create their own watch faces with the FaceDesigner app.
